Product Overview
rFOIL Big-8 2280 is the first R-8.0 reflective duct insulation without mineral fiber or fiberglass (no itch or irritation!). Tested and certified to meet R-8 code requirements for both residential and commercial HVAC systems, it reduces radiant heat gain and loss while controlling condensation. The multi-layer bubble construction with 2-inch spacers delivers high thermal performance. Clean, safe, and quick to install, Big-8 lowers both HVAC stress and energy costs.
Materials
Three layers of polyethylene single bubble insulation, with each layer bonded to two radiant barrier metalized sheets. Comes with 2” wide spacers.
